Bible Fight

Have Noah trample Moses with two of every animal, play as Jesus and pummel on a nearly naked Eve with your big-assed cross, or play as Satan jabbing Mary with a pitchfork, with the baby Jesus in her arms no less. Not as easy as it looks.

And yes, you're all going to hell for playing. Enjoy!

The Cannon and the Cobra

Edited the original post for the Cannon, sticking in the hi res version so you can actually see it. ^^

Can only seem to edit posts from werk. Still a lot to figure out about all this new-fangled, hi-tech blogging crap...

But first, here's a rather disturbing video demonstrating conclusively what not to get for your child's first pet.

Rorshi...

Can't seem to stop here....

Something I did for Sora-Chan over at Divine Folklore. Based around some random IM chatter. Was inspired by the extreme camera angles in Fooley Cooley (FLCL).

Kitteh Cannon!

A request from Sora-Chan. I'm betting you feel a tad guilty now. Just look at that face! WOULD JA JUST LOOOOOK?!

I hope you're happy now...

Character designs for webcomic

Where they are at this point design-wise, and they may change for the 29,695th time again, so don't hold yer breath on these being the FINAL finals, just the current finals...

I'm kinda thinking of a parody of Scooby Doo, with the Goonies and burned-out animal cartoon stars who's souls have been slowly crushed due to the pressures of fame thrown in for good measure. Still have to design him though...

It's Kate!

Daughter of Sam 15 or so years from now. Not too thrilled with suddenly finding out she's got water powers. Would rather be drawing or watching movies. Anything that puts off her burgeoning powers, or adolescence in general.

I really like this sketch. Will have to do a full render job on this one day...

She Is Sam

Three versions of the same Samantha drawing in full water valkyrie mode.

Sketch in Photoshop on Wacom. Used a Poser mannequin to get the pose right.

I like to use light blue when roughing out, kind of a holdover from when comic artists used (and still do) non-photographic blue pencils to make their pencil sketches. It's neat because after the inker inks it, the drawing got photocopied, where the blue lines underneath wouldn't get picked up and you have a nice, inked drawing without having to erase the sketch. Don't really need to do it on a Wacom in Photoshop of course, but I just feel more comfortable with it, more free to make mistakes ^^;;.

Lines are blacked in and gray tones made. There's a theory floating around that your eyes will pick up on changes in value (lights and darks) a millisecond before they read the color. So it's a good idea to balance out the grays so the right shades pop out and they all work together before laying in the color.

Big jump here to the final version. Came out nice, (she's my desktop, now ^^) but had to cheat a bit on the water. Filtered and distorted the hell out of a generic water pic to make it look like it fit in with Sam. Did draw the swirling foam and water around her legs though.

Not too happy with the look for Xeros the cat. Will probably change him next time I draw him.

Jane Lane in Succubus mode

Taken from Daria obviously, but then I used the character in an RPG I'm playing and she got cursed by the similarly cursed members of the Fashion Club. However, Jane is the coolest of the group and easily the most competent/lethal.

First entry

Okay, gonna give this thing a shot. This will be where I post sketches, finished art and the musings they may inspire. Unto the breach I go! Weeeeee!
